EDIT: Decision made: based on input from folks familiar with the 1999 LeClerc computer dobby, I am not going to attempt to restore the dobby.
If anyone could make use of the parts, let me know. I have restored enough old machines to know how hard it can be to keep them going! I hate to throw them away if they could help keep another loom going, but also can’t justify storing the big wooden parts.

Anyone have a LeClerc Colonial Dobby? I understand they didn’t make them for very long. I have a pile of parts that was originally a dobby, and then converted to a 12 shaft treadle loom.
Trying to decide if I want to attempt restoring it as a dobby, or set it up as a treadle.
Yes I have too many looms at the moment for the space I have. I think the LeClerc will get stood up in the living room, and the Norwood is for sale. The AVL is waiting for me to finish winding its first warp.
