Nano!
Finally got mine spinning effectively and without rattles after my third session of trying hacks.
Reseating the larger bearing on the flyer shaft and adjusting the orifice reducer so it didn’t drag on the maiden/support was what took it from a vibrating thing with no take-up to a functional spinner.
There is still work to do to get the noise reduced further– the bobbin has a lot of clatter. But that can be sorted now that it does the job.
My recommendation to others is to get it moving smoothly and quietly without a bobbin first. Just the flyer on the base on a smooth, flat table, without having it attached to anything. If it’s loud or vibrating or walking around on the table it has to get sorted at this stage before it will be able to work.
Next get a bobbin with a leader drawing in and winding on well.
Only when those things are solved start trying to actually spin.
