Stunt Spinning
Finished four-ply cabled yarn from Alice’s Reflection Farm‘s fleece that I was spinning yesterday. This fleece spins so unbelievably fine, and is still bouncy even in a tightly-plyed worsted-spun yarn. Alice still has a lot of fleeces on hand in a variety of colors and they absolutely should find spinners to adore them.

Ok, here is where I am with my current spinning project. It’s about a pound and a half. I have one batt spun into a skein and labelled. The second bat has been broken into thirds, and I want to finish the first bobbin of this second batt today. I might finish spinning and ply
Runny Yarn
Grrr. Valley Yarns “Charlemont” in the color “Mulberry” ran so badly in the wash that it completely muted out the contrast threads in my latest shawl. *pissed*
Macomber Love Revisited
Loving my Mac so much. It just works. Compared to my AVL everything is so cleanly designed and easy to use. The AVL is for going fast and making a ton of yardage. The Mac is for the sheer pleasure of weaving.
